The Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will be the 65th edition of the long-running event. With the cancellation of the 2020 contest due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, it was decided by the EBU in a deal reached with Dutch broadcasters NPO, NOS and AVROTROS that Rotterdam would pick up where it left off and once again be the host city, with the shows being held at Rotterdam Ahoy.
